OUR USAGE AND MAINTENANCE TIPS

To accelerate oxidation, spray the Corten steel with a mixture of 1/3 hydrochloric acid and 2/3 water. Let it sit for 48 hours then rinse with clean water. You can repeat the operation if necessary.

Once the desired oxidation level is reached, we recommend applying an anti-rust product like Owatrol's Rustol to fix the oxidation.

Beware of rust drips during the oxidation phase, as they can damage the surface on which the Corten steel elements are placed (tiling, wooden deck...)

Note:

Salt significantly damages Corten.

Upon receipt, the walls must be stored outside their packaging to avoid disrupting the oxidation that can occur in contact with moisture.

The superficial calamine plates are inherent to Corten production and are an integral part of the product.
